Todeo is a personal watchlist app. This page explains what we collect, where it is stored, who else receives it, and how long we keep it.
Account and sign-in: your email address, used to sign you in and to identify your account, plus any profile details you add: username, display name, avatar, bio, and whether your profile is public. If you sign in with Google, Apple, Discord, Trakt, Steam or MyAnimeList, we also store that provider's account id and the email address it reports back to us; Steam never shares one and Trakt only does if you allow it, so for those two we generate a placeholder address instead. For MyAnimeList we keep an access and refresh token so you can re-run a library import without signing in again. Your library: watchlist, watched, read and played items, your private ratings, subscriptions, and your language and region settings, stored as one row per item alongside a small settings record. What you post publicly: comments, replies, public star ratings, GIFs and likes on item discussions, which other people can see. Social: your friends, pending friend requests, and anyone you block; if you signed up through someone's invite link, we record who invited you and add the two of you as friends. Party: sessions you host or join, the swipe decisions you make in them, and the display name you choose. Notifications: if you turn them on, a push token for your device and a record of which alerts we have already sent, so we do not repeat them. Diagnostics: bug reports you submit, including app version, current screen, browser, viewport and language, plus a random device identifier stored in your browser and sent with basic usage events.
Cloudflare D1 (Cloudflare's serverless SQLite). The database lives on Cloudflare's global infrastructure; the primary region is auto-selected by Cloudflare based on where the database was provisioned. Your browser's localStorage also holds a copy of your library so the app works offline, the random device identifier used for usage events, a pending invite reference if you arrived from someone's link, any Party guest identity and display name you have used, and short-lived sign-in helpers.
Cloudflare Pages (hosting and Pages Functions), Cloudflare D1 (database), Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless page metrics) and Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine (usage events). Resend delivers transactional email: sign-in links, account-deletion undo links, and moderation alerts to the operator. Sentry receives error reports, with user identifiers, cookies and request bodies stripped before sending. Apple's push service, and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android where it is available, receive your device token and the text of any notification you have enabled, which can name a title from your library. If you sign in with a third-party account, that provider (Google, Apple, Discord, Trakt, Steam or MyAnimeList) receives a standard sign-in request and returns an account id, and in most cases an email address. TMDB, Open Library, RAWG and IGDB/Twitch are queried by public catalog id and receive nothing about you. Two others do receive content derived from what you use: IsThereAnyDeal receives game titles and your country when we check prices for games on your list, and Giphy receives whatever you type into the GIF picker. Neither is told who you are.
We set two cookies. A session cookie for sign-in (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict), and a short-lived state cookie used only during third-party sign-in (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=None, ten minutes), which the return trip from the provider requires. No third-party cookies. No advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Separately, a random device identifier is stored in your browser's localStorage and sent with usage events; clearing site data resets it.
You can export your data from the account screen. The export covers your account details, your library, your friends list and your notification history; it does not currently include linked sign-in accounts, push tokens, public comments and likes, Party history, blocks or pending friend requests. You can delete your account from the same screen. We email you an undo link and hold your account for seven days so you can change your mind, then erase it permanently. Reports you have filed about other content may be kept after that as moderation records.

These terms govern your use of Todeo. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use Todeo.
Using Todeo (signing in, importing data, sharing a list) means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. We may update them; material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
You're responsible for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in email secure. You can delete your account anytime via Settings → Account → Delete my account; we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or expose Todeo to legal risk. On termination, your data is removed within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
Your lists, notes, ratings, and reviews remain yours. We do not claim ownership. When you mark a list as public or share it via a link, you grant Todeo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the sharing feature. The licence ends when you make the list private or delete it.
Don't harass, threaten, impersonate, or dox other users. Don't upload illegal content or content you don't have the right to share. Don't scrape, crawl, or bulk-export the service or other users' data. Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer Todeo, or use it to build a competing dataset. Don't use automated accounts without permission.
Todeo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content, and users who behave abusively, are not allowed. You can report objectionable content with the flag control on any public profile, list, or note, and you can block abusive users from your account. We review reports and act within 24 hours: offending content is removed and the responsible account may be terminated. By signing in you agree to these standards.
Todeo displays metadata from third-party APIs. We are not affiliated with these providers and are not responsible for their content or availability. Attributions: movie & TV data from TMDB (this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB), game data from RAWG and IGDB, book data from Open Library, game-deal data from CheapShark and IsThereAnyDeal (ITAD), library and sign-in via Steam, Trakt, Discord, and MyAnimeList (MAL).
Todeo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party data will be accurate or up to date.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Todeo and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, for the free tier, is zero).
These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing here removes consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
